Music of Nani’s 3rd film Snehituda is launched today evening at a function organized in Prasad Labs. Ramesh Prasad, Shyam Prasad Reddy, Pokuri Babu Rao, A Ravi Shankar Prasad and Bheemineni Srinivasa Rao attended this function as guests. Madhavi Latha is the heroine. Shiva Shankar (Priyamanina Neeku fame) composed music. Bhasha Sri penned lyrics and songs.Ramesh Prasad launched the audiocassette and gave the first copy to Shyam Prasad Reddy. Gopichand launched the audio CD and gave the first unit to Pokuri Babu Rao.

Music director Shiva Shankar said, “I had been looking for another break after Priyamaina Neeku movie and I am sure that Snehituda will give the much required break. I gave good music for this movie. Currently rerecording is going on. I hope to make the movie hit.”

Shyam Prasad Reddy said, “Content is the king now and audiences are accepting movies with good content irrespective of star power and brand value. I saw Ride movie and noticed tremendous energy in Nani’s work.”

A number about trying one's luck and taking risks that could be the now or never moment for the protagonists, ' Luck Aazma ' with supporting vocals by Satya Hinduja is a kind of number that should find a place throughout the film's narrative as a background score.For the first time in the album a female voice is heard and it's a pleasant surprise indeed since the person making her debut behind the mike is none other than Shruti Haasan herself.

Pritam has left no stone unturned in creating soulful melodies.The film that stars Saif and Deepika Padukone has seven originals and three remixes in the soundtrack.Aahun aahun, which has an electrifying start with the strumming of the guitar, is an amalgamation of a hit Punjabi pop song by singer Jazzy B and the Hindi song composed by Pritam. Sung by Neeraj Shridhar, the song keeps juggling between the two genres and is very entertaining. It sets the mood by mixing both Indian and western influences. Aahun aahun will surely be a hit.The number also has a remixed version, which will become a favourite on the DJ consoles.

Up next is a beautiful rendition in Rahat Fateh Ali Khan's voice. Aaj din chadeyya starts with a small alaap. A romantic song that is extremely soothing to the ears, Aaj din... strikes a chord with the listeners. The song has a feel-good factor.With brilliant vocals by Sunidhi Chauhan and Neeraj Sridhar, the next song Chor bazari starts with foot-tapping, peppy music. The lyrics are not the highlight of the song, but the number has the potential to impress music buffs.This too has a remixed version, which is quite average.KK makes his presence felt with fast-paced song Main kya hoon, which is enhanced by electronic and psychedelic beats.With the next song Thoda thoda pyar, the Punjabi flavour takes precedence. Sung by Sunidhi Chauhan, it has a folk touch to it in places. But it might not go on to become a chartbuster.

"Short Kut - The Con Is On" had everything going right for it - famous composers, best lyricist and talented singers like Alka Yagnik and Sonu Nigam going behind the mike. Yet the music of the film is not as interesting as one expected. The soundtrack of the film - an Anil Kapoor production starring Akshaye Khanna, Arshad Warsi and Amrita Rao - entails four originals and two remixes."Kal nau baje", a melodious romantic number, is crooned by Sonu Nigam and Alka Yagnik. Soft music and vocals by two experienced and talented singers are the high points of the song. It has the potential to stay with the listener even after the song is over.

Up next is "Kyun hota hai dil deewana" and it is sung by Javed Ali and Shreya Ghosal. The song has traces of qawalli music but it's not very prominent. It's foot-tapping, high on beats and does appeal for some time but lacks in holding the interest for long. The lyrics are snothing extraordinary."Mareeze mohabbat", a fusion of rustic and western influences, is different owing to its sudden break from Indian music to western and back to Indian during the course of the song.The track is sung by Sonu Nigam's sister Nikita Nigam along with Kirti Sagathia, Hrishikesh Kamerkar and Shankar Mahadevan. With touches of English rap interlinked with Indian touches, the song does have a potential to impress the listener.The song also has a remixed version, making the already fast-paced song fit for the dance floor.

After a long time, music buffs will be able to savour the compositions of Annu Malek through the much-awaited film "Kambakkht Ishq". The music of the film, which stars Akhshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor and Hollywood stars Sylvester Stallone, Brandon Routh and Denise Richards, is good only in parts.The soundtrack has five originals and four remixes."Bebo", a song crooned by Alisha Chinai is average. One expected much more from the singer who has beautifully sung songs like "Kajra re" from "Bunty Aur Babli". However, the vocals are extremely mediocre and the uninteresting lyrics make matters worse. "Bebo" is a usual, fast-paced, high on beats song.

The number also has a remixed version which only adds more beats to the original and nothing else. A complete disappointment. There were certain expectations from the title track of the film, but "Kambakkht Ishq" does not fulfil anything. The song sung by KK and Sunidhi Chauhan is backed by strong musical arrangements but the lyrics are a put off.The original was already high on beats, so the song did not need a remixed version. This version of the song is quite similar to the original, making it difficult to recognise which is original and which is the remixed one.
